Roma Street Station, Brisbane
Roma Street railway station is located in the Brisbane central business district. It is the junction station for the North Coast, Main, Gold Coast and NSW North Coast lines. The station is one of four inner city stations that form a core corridor through the centre of Brisbane. Although not easily visible to the public, the original 1873 Roma Street railway station building still exists within the modern complex and is listed on the Queensland Heritage Register.

Spring Bluff, Qld
Spring Bluff Railway Station is a heritage listed site located on the historic Ipswich to Toowoomba railway line, completed in April 1867. In 1914 Queensland Railways launched a garden competition to encourage railway staff to beautify the stations and grow vegetables. The gardens are now beautifully maintained and have won awards in the Carnival of Flowers competition over many years.


Wallangarra, Qld
Wallangarra railway station is a heritage-listed railway station at Wallangarra in the Southern Downs Region town of Queensland. It was built in 1877 along the state border of Queensland and New South Wales It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 28 March 2003.


Kuranda, Qld
Kuranda Station is world renowned for its tropical gardens and historic significance. It is possibly one of the most photographed railway stations in the world. The heritage-listed buildings blend with the tropical surrounds providing a relaxed environment to enjoy. The Kuranda Railway Tea Rooms at the station offer a great range of souvenirs and refreshments.


Emerald, Qld
Emerald’s first Railway Station was built in 1899 but, unfortunately, burned down within a year. In 1900 a new Railway Station was built of timber, with an iron roof, wrought iron trimmings and pillared portico. The building design was signed by Henrik Hansen, it was built by Thomas Moir. The station building was built in the federation style of architecture, and is one of the few examples in Queensland of stations built in timber using this style. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register in October 1992. It was restored in 1986 and is well worth a visit.


North Bundaberg, Qld
North Bundaberg railway station is a closed railway station at 28 Station Street, North Bundaberg, Queensland. It is on the North Coast railway line and linked that line to the Mount Perry railway line. The station was constructed in 1881, and it was to be used as the last stop of transporting raw materials such as copper from the mines to the coast for shipping.


Mount Morgan, Qld
Mount Morgan railway station is a heritage-listed railway station at Railway Parade, Mount Morgan, Rockhampton Region. It is on the Mount Morgan - Wowan railway line. The station was constructed in 1898 to service the former goldrush and gold mining township of Mount Morgan and its mine. The station was designed by Henrik Hansen, who also designed the Archer Park, Shorncliffe and South Brisbane railway stations.


Woodford, Qld
The Australian Narrow Gauge Railway Museum Society operates a railway museum at the Woodford railway station. The society was established in January 1971 to preserve the history of narrow-gauge railways in Queensland. The society has collected steam, diesel and petrol locomotives and rollingstock using the 2-foot gauge and has established their Durundur railway at Woodford as an operating heritage line. The society operates a heritage train on the first and third Sunday of each month.


Rosewood Station, Qld
The Rosewood Railway Museum is located near Rosewood on the former railway to Marburg first opened in 1909. The museum utilises a station and yard located at Kunkala as its base. The Marburg branch opened from Rosewood in 1912 and saw primarily coal traffic for most of its life.
